BEACHES & BAYS
Depending on what time your ferry is due to depart for Penzance, you can either spend your final day on ST MARY’S re-visiting Porthcressa beach, heading back up to the northeast of the island for a day at Pelistry Bay or venturing out to a new strip of sand – maybe Porthloo Beach, just up the coast from Hugh Town, or Porth Hellick, the lovely little cove by Porth Hellick Down. There are plenty of great places in Hugh Town to while away a long lunch, too, making the most of the clement climate and a view filled with little islands and a lot of sea.
