Our jam-packed itinerary took us all over, from the scenic charm of bustling San Fran to the wilds of Yosemite in an RV, to dazzling Las Vegas and through the incredible Death Valley. We had a cool time checking out Route 66 and star-spotting in LA, then finished our adventure in laid-back style on Route 1, with surfing and whale-watching in Monterey. The child-friendly restaurant tips were invaluable after a morning of walking around the medina. We stayed just inside the medina – it was an ideal location to immerse yourself in the city.
